Shared markdown docs for humans and agents
Libram is a collaborative documentation workspace where the canonical format is plain markdown — for your team, and for the AI agents working alongside it. You run it yourself, on your own Cloudflare account, as a single worker.
Early accessWhat Libram does
- Markdown native. Docs are stored and edited as plain markdown. What you export is exactly what you wrote — no block schema, no lossy conversion.
- Realtime collaboration. Several people (and agents) edit the same doc at once with live cursors, version history, and one-click rollback.
- Comments and suggested edits. Google-Docs-style threads anchored to text, and proposed changes anyone can accept or reject.
- Agent native. A REST API and a remote MCP server let AI tools read, write, comment on, and suggest edits to docs. Agent writes are diff-merged into the live doc so they never clobber a human's concurrent edits.
- Search, summaries, and publishing. Full-text search, automatically generated summaries, and per-doc public pages when you want to share something with the world.
- Self-hosted. Deploys as one Cloudflare Worker with its own database and file storage. Your workspace's data lives in your own account.
Signing in with Google or GitHub
Libram has no passwords. You sign in with a Google or GitHub account, and Libram asks for only the basics it needs to identify you: your account ID, email address, name, and profile picture. With Google this is the standard openid, email, and profile scopes — nothing more. Libram never requests access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or contacts.
That information is used to create your account in the workspace you're signing into, to show your name and picture to the other members of that workspace, and to attribute the edits and comments you make. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone outside the workspace. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Sign-ins for the instances we operate run through auth.libram.dev, a small relay that completes the Google or GitHub round trip and hands the workspace a signed identity. The relay keeps no database and stores nothing about you.
Status
Libram is in early access. You can explore a public, periodically-reset workspace at demo.libram.dev. Self-hosting instructions and the source will be published here as they're ready. Questions: hello@libram.dev.
